This class focuses on a topic (“element”) and includes drills and explorations of the element in relation to music. Build awareness of your movement quality and learn how to expand and refine your existing repertoire of movement without having to learn “new moves”.

Level: Suitable for students with experience in low flow (not aerial pole). Topics will generally include movements that require a higher levels of strength and coordination as well as dynamic and ballistic tricks.

Prerequisites: Overall familiarity with learning low flow. Proficiency with turns, upright holds, grounded and aerial inversions, and sliding grips/switches.

Attire & Equipment

  • Pole required.

  • 7" or 8" pole heels are optional. Some classes may be partly or entirely taught with no heels. I discourage wearing heels if you are moving on carpet or uneven surfaces.

  • Have socks knee pads or knee protection at hand.
